This kind of thing has previously happened to the McCain campaign, when no one was minding the online store that allowed comments on all of the items for sale. But now it is the RNC’s turn to open a “feedback forum” without moderation, suggesting that the RNC fails to understand how the Internet works:

and about six hours later, the top two suggestions on the site are:

At about nine ten hours later, there are 3947 3963 3990 4015 votes for Truck Nutz for all! and 725 731 738 750 comments. It took days for the McCain campaign to notice and shut comments down for their site.
It has become performance art at this point…

And maybe, just maybe, it’s a fight between the internet-savvy party and the technologically retarded party. That’s why Obama won; imagine a president who couldn’t use the Internet!
